Upon arrival on December 11, you will find our tour guide holding a sign board with your name. Proceed to board the bus with all your luggage, which will take you to your hotel located in the heart of Saigon city. Take some time to refresh yourself. Later in the evening, you are invited to join a welcome dinner where you will receive a brief introduction to Vietnam and the itinerary for your trip.

  After breakfast, the group embarks on a short drive to the Old French Quarter, where the historic monuments in the heart of Saigon offer glimpses into its past during the French colonial era and the South Vietnam regime. The tour takes an easy walk along prominent landmarks such as Town Hall, Rex Hotel, Opera House, Post Office, and Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral.   Moving away from the colonial sights, the tour delves into the authentic Vietnamese way of life. A visit to the bustling Thai Binh market allows participants to observe locals purchasing daily cooking essentials. The next stop at Ho Thi Ky flower market showcases how Vietnamese people appreciate beauty in their daily lives.   The journey continues to Thien Hau temple, providing a fascinating insight into the spiritual practices of the Vietnamese.   After lunch, you are given free time to explore the city at their leisure, with the option to visit the lively Ben Thanh market for shopping.

Option trip: Saigon Food Tour on Motorbike

Time: from 18:00 to 22:00 This unique experience involves riding pillion behind a knowledgeable motorbike driver, exploring the bustling streets of Saigon while enjoying authentic, fresh seafood dishes and local favorites such as Banh Xeo (traditional Vietnamese savory pancake) or pho (typical Vietnamese noodle soup). This tour allows visitors to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle and experience one night as a true local.

Meet your tour guide and get ready to embark on a two-hour drive to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat trip along the picturesque Mekong River, taking in the sights of local life along the riverbanks. The boat journey leads you to the vibrant Cai Be floating market, where wholesale trading occurs on large boats. Witness the bustling commerce and capture the essence of this unique market as they navigate back and forth among the boats. The market predominantly sells fruits and vegetables, and you will notice the interesting marketing approach, with each boat featuring a long upright pole at its bow, displaying samples of the goods for sale.


During the tour, you’ll also make stops at local houses, where you’ll learn about additional local businesses apart from rice farming, such as pop-rice, pop-corn, and spider web rice paper production.

In the morning, the group embarks on a 90-minute drive away from the bustling city, traversing through the vast rubber tree plantations until the tunnel site is reached. Along the way, there is an opportunity to stop at a plantation site and gain insights into the process of rubber production, learning about the fascinating journey from tree to final product.

Upon arrival at the destination, the group sits down to watch an informative documentary. Following this, the group will embark on a guided 120-minute walk through the Cuchi tunnel site, becoming immersed in the authentic relics of the tunnels. This immersive experience provides a firsthand understanding of guerrilla war techniques as you explore fighting bunkers, entrances, living spaces, hospitals, meeting rooms, and even schools within the underground system. For a true guerrilla experience, you also have the opportunity to crawl through the underground passages.

After the tunnel visit, you return to the city center by car and are then free to explore the city at your leisure or take a break and refresh yourself on your own.

Option trip: Saigon craft beer Tour

Time: from 17:30 to 21:00
In the Craft Brewery Field Trip, participants are taken to several breweries in Saigon, where they get to taste a variety of craft beers and engage in discussions about the flavors, history, and knowledge surrounding these magical beverages. This trip is ideal for those interested in learning about the craft beer-making process. While the availability of breweries may vary, the planned visit includes Heart of Darkness Craft Brewery, Winking Seal Beer Co, and LAC Brewing Co/Belgo. Participants will be able to enjoy a flight of four beers and finger foods at each tap room, all while benefiting from the enthusiasm and expertise of their tour leader in the realm of craft beer.

The group takes a short drive to the cooking class center, where you are introduced to the chef who will be leading the cooking activities for the morning. The session commences with the cooking instructors guiding you to a local market, providing insights into the techniques and culture of Vietnamese gastronomy. Upon returning to the cooking center, follow the chef’s instructions to prepare approximately four dishes.


Following the cooking session, sit down to enjoy the delicious meal you have prepared. As a delightful conclusion to the experience, each participant receives a certificate of completion from the cooking class.

 

After lunch, the group proceeds to the Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to Nha Trang.

The day begins with a short drive to Robin Hill, where the group embarks on a cable car ride through pine forests. The cable car travels to a Zen monastery, offering insight into another branch of Buddhism. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the pagodas, enjoy the flower gardens, and take in the stunning view of Tuyen Lam Lake, setting a pleasant tone for the day.


Next, drive further to Prenn to witness the enchanting beauty of a waterfall, taking an easy walk in the area to fully appreciate the mountainous surroundings. The morning tour concludes with a visit to a coffee plantation, where you’ll discover Vietnam’s position as the second-largest coffee producer globally. Here, you’ll also learn about a unique and extraordinary coffee variety known as weasel coffee, along with its production process.


In the afternoon, the group is free to relax and explore at their leisure until it’s time to head to Lat village. In this charming village, there is an opportunity to interact with hill tribal people and participate in a dance accompanied by traditional Gong music—a cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. This offers a delightful and enriching experience for everyone involved.

In the morning, the group has free time to spend at their leisure until it’s time to head to Lien Khuong airport for the flight to Hanoi. Upon arriving in Hanoi, you are transferred to a hotel located near the Old Quarter. After checking in and taking a short break to freshen up, embark on a unique exploration of the Old Quarter streets by riding on cyclos, a peaceful traditional vehicle of Vietnam.


 

The cyclo ride takes you through the bustling and charming streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere and observe the city’s vibrant life.


The cyclo ride concludes at the Thang Long water puppet theater, where you can enjoy an authentic and captivating cultural show depicting Vietnamese entertainment during the flood season. The water puppetry performance is a traditional art form unique to Vietnam and provides a delightful experience for all.

The group is requested to be ready at the hotel lobby by 8:00 AM. A knowledgeable guide, accompanied by a driver, will arrive to commence the city tour in Hanoi. The tour includes visits to prominent landmarks such as the Hochiminh Mausoleum, Hilton Prison, and Temple of Literature. It is essential to note that visitors are advised not to wear shorts or sleeveless shirts during these visits, as the Hochiminh Mausoleum houses the embalmed corpse of Hochiminh, and the temple has a dress code requirement.


Following the morning tour, the guide recommends having lunch at KOTO, a unique place that supports and empowers street children, offering them opportunities to excel in the hospitality industry. By dining at KOTO, visitors contribute to transforming these children’s lives from difficult circumstances on the streets to promising careers in hospitality.


After lunch, participants have free time to explore Hanoi at their own pace, immersing themselves in the city’s rich culture, history, and attractions.

Option trip: Hanoi on Jeep Tour

Time: from 17:00 to 21:30
Description: jump on the LEGENDARY RUSSIAN JEEP or GAZ69 or USA ARMY JEEP and join the local traffic along the great highlights of the city. We will drive through a maze of alleyways known ONLY by locals, make contact with people and get to know the behind-the-scenes stories. Our jeep will also take you through the green boulevards of Indochina’s capital, where you can see the influence of French architecture. The embassy area, Hanoi Opera House, Long Bien Bridge, and other Hanoi landmarks will be passed through. The jeeps also zip around the West Lake, passing through the city’s most peaceful areas, with ancient villages nestled around the West Lake, Truc Bach Lake.

The driver will meet the group at the hotel around 8:00 AM, and you will begin your journey to Halong, which takes approximately 3 and a half hours. As you drive through the picturesque landscape of rice fields in the Red River Delta, you’ll witness the daily life of Vietnamese villagers and encounter water buffaloes along the way. A stopover in Hai Duong will offer a chance to stretch your legs before continuing the journey.

 

Upon reaching Halong, you’ll board a private ship and set sail on a cruise through the stunning bay, which is renowned for its thousands of limestone islets rising dramatically from the emerald waters.

 

As you embark on the cruise, the ship passes by a fish farming village where thousands of residents live almost exclusively on the water, even including the children. This unique village offers excellent photo opportunities with its floating farms, houses, and schools.

 


Next, you’ll have the opportunity to climb up Paradise Cave and explore its interior, marveling at the underground rivers and stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations that have formed over millions of years.

Returning to the boat, you’ll continue the cruise, passing by beautiful islets and rock formations. Lunch will be served on board, featuring a selection of delicious seafood.


The ship will anchor near a beach, providing an opportunity for you to swim in the crystal-clear waters amidst the pristine white sand. For those seeking a challenge, there’s an option to climb 500 steps to a mountain top for a breathtaking view of a corner of the bay.


 Alternatively, you can simply relax and enjoy the sunset from the boat.

Dinner will be served on board, and you’ll have the freedom to swim at night or gather on the upper deck for a tranquil experience. Afterward, you can retreat to your personal space in your room for a restful night.
